                       Our and my publications reflect

many years of work across cultures, languages,

and communities. Some are pubished in English, others

in Danish, Spanish, or Kalaallisut, depending on the context and the people involved. The texts are shaped by the communities            and collaborations I have been part of - each reflecting

a community, a collaboration, a moment in time

                         and a movement in space.

Untold Stories from Fieldwork is an anthology edited by Peter Berliner and published by Ilisimatusarfik, the University of Greenland. It presents personal narratives from researchers working across the Arctic — stories that illuminate the human, ethical, and relational dimensions of fieldwork.

The book reflects Ilisimatusarfik’s commitment to research that “benefits society and local communities of Greenland” and supports “the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.”

These untold stories offer insight into encounters that shaped understanding, challenged assumptions, and revealed the social strengths of care, connectivity, and empathy.
